Lost Nation Film with filmmaker Jay Craven
August 16, 2025 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Brookfield Old Town Hall, 93 Stone Rd, Brookfield, VT 05036, USA
Celebrated Vermont Filmmaker Jay Craven brings his most recent film “Lost Nation” to Brookfield. It is a Revolutionary era tale involving the stories of both the Green Mountain boy Ethan Allen and a once enslaved poet Lucy Prince. Jim Lowe of the Times-Argus calls the film a “dramatic and riveting adventure” which is “beautifully filmed” as the stories of the protagonists “parallel–and collide dramatically”. Lowe notes, “The storytelling is irresistible, thanks to consistently fine portrayals and Craven’s excellent direction”. Don’t miss this special event!
